We had six Eagle Sponsors: Batesville Electric, Meyers-Davis, Embroidery & Beyond, Thrivent, Lutheran Church Extension Fund, and National Safety Solutions. We had three Birdie Sponsors: FARCO, Peco, and Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church And many hole sponsors, I think…

Oktoberfest Classic Sponsor: Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church
This is a great announcement. Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church (LCMS) has agreed to be a birdie sponsor for the Oktoberfest Classic. Our sister church in Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas has been a constant source of support. They regularly have three or four members serve as volunteers to the Family Life Pantry and other members give diapers and baby food regularly. They are witnessing firsthand the great need. Shepherd of the Hills endowment committee came together recently and proposed to be a sponsor of the tournament. Because of their by-laws, they had to take the request to the congregation, and the congregation approved the sponsorship unanimously on Sunday. Shepherd of…

Our inaugural Oktoberfest Classic has another sponsor: Embroidery & Beyond
We have another Eagle Hole Sponsor! A big thank you to Barb and Rich Burns at Embroidery & Beyond. Additionally, they have generously donated back to the Oktoberfest Classic the two golf teams that we give to an Eagle Hole Sponsor for us to use in the fundraiser. Their support is so important as we witness an increasing need for help today. This past Monday we had 82 families with 133 children come and receive essential baby goods for the raising of their children. Since the Hope Family Life Pantry (FLP) became an idea three years ago, Barb and Rich have been huge supporters. Their small business’s ability to engage…
